How it Works
Description
Event Description:
A perfect activity to de-stress and introduce nature into your urbanite life!
- An escape that is experiential.
- A fun process of design and creation.
- A take-away that is their mini living world.
Event Itinerary:
- Once guests arrive teachers will welcome them and let them look at inspiration boards and samples available.
- We'll start with an introduction to materials, plants and help guests choose best plant for their space.
- We'll then begin walking through the process of planting.
- While everyone is decorating instructors will talk about care of plants.
- When class is done, terrariums will be packed in white gift boxes and white bags for easy transport.
What You Will Make / Go Home With:
Each guest will go home with:
- Their own terrarium complete with soil, 2 plants, moss, and decorative bits such as colored pebbles or bark.
- A gift box.
- A care card.
About the Instructor:
Knowledgeable, experienced, creative, fun and friendly instructors.
About the Venue:
Astoria is hip hop and happening! Join us for a class and then drink or dine in one of many cool places in the neighborhood...all easily accessible by the N train.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Helpful and did not rush us. Small class (it was just two of us). Seemed a little surprised initially that we actually came for the class. But got everything ready in time to start.
